UAWC signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the Syndicate of Veterinarians
Ramallah- The General Director of the Union of Agricultural Work Committees Eng. Khaled Hidmi signed a memorandum of understanding with the Syndicate of Veterinarians Dr. Younis Makhamra to develop and enhance the human resources who are specialized in veterinary medicine. The MoU will benefit the Palestinian society and the farmers in particular.
Hidmi emphasized on the importance of the MoU with the Syndicate of Veterinarians. This partnership will provide support to the Palestinian families in rural areas through a number of programs and developmental projects. Hidmi also pointed that UAWC looks forward to expand its relations with the sectors that develop human resources to enhance the quality of the support provided to the Palestinian farmers.
Makhamra explained that the syndicate works on several programs and events specialized in veterinary medicine. The syndicate’s work aims to contribute to the provision of job opportunities and to enhance the confidence of fresh veterinary medicine graduates.
Both sides agreed on the joint cooperation to support the veterinary profession and to activate the role of veterinarians for the benefit of the community and farmers. Both sides also agreed on preparing and implementing technical and scientific training programs for veterinarians.
