UAWC implements a Solidarity activity in Masafer Yata
The Union of Agricultural Work Committees implemented a solidarity activity to plant saplings in a natural reserve in Masafer Yata to the south of Hebron Governorate. The natural reserve is threatened with demolition orders for building agricultural water wells and a children’s park without Israeli permits. Birzeit students and locals participated in the activity were the total number was around 60 volunteers.
It is important to note that the activity was within Defending Our Rights project funded by Norwegian People’s Fund.
