UAWC distributes 15 tons of organic fertilizer in Al-Mughair village
Ramallah- the Union of Agricultural Work Committees distributed 15 tons of organic fertilizer for 29 farmers benfted from house garden project in Al-Mughair project in the governorate of Ramallah, funded by the German Cooperation (GIZ) in partnership with the German Foundation (Gfa) and the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture
The project aims to support the steadfastness of the small farmers and empower Palestinian women in their community and improve their sources of income and access to the self-sufficiency of crops where the project included the supply of 7,100 vegetables seedlings (zucchini, spring cucumber and tomato), in addition to building the beneficiaries’ capacities in different agricultural fields.
It is important to note that the UAWC has supplied the farmers with irrigation networks, winter saplings, plastic water tanks, and pumps
