UAWC completes land week in the villages of Nahaleen and Azoun
Ramallah- The Union of Agricultural Work Committees completed land week events in the village of Nahaleen in the Governorate of Bethlahem and the village of Azoun in the Governorate of Qalqilya with the participation of member of the agricultural committees from all the governorates, women cooperatives and representatives from Via Campesina France.
Land week held many demonstrations and olive planting in areas near the Isreali settlements to strengthen the Palestinians resistance on their land and refuse the occupation’s policy in confiscating the Palestinian land.
It is important to point that the land week was launched in the village of Tayaseer in the Governorate of Toubas within the project “Defending our Rights” that is funded by the Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA)
