The Israeli Occupation Authorities invade the Khirbat “several small rural communities” threatened with displacement to the east of Yatta.
Hebron – The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) closed the road linking between the Khirbat and the villages threatened with displacement, eastern of Yatta, in Hebron Province. In addition, the IOF searched many homes and tents in this area, eastern of Yatta.
Media Sources pointed out that the IOF closed the road linking between Khirbet Jenba and Khirbet Ber El’ad, and set-up a military checkpoint to prevent citizens’ movements. Moreover; the IOF, carefully conducted many homes and tents inspections, and forces the families to stay outdoors.
On July 24th, the Defense Minister, Ehud Barak, approved the demolition of eight villages in the southern of Hebron; under the pretext of using the land for an Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) training ground. The decision aims at the destruction of the Palestinian villages and the deportation of the inhabitants.
