The Israeli Occupation Authorities confiscate 200 dunums in the Northern provinces
Ramallah – Land Research Center revealed in a report that the Israeli Occupation Authorities confiscated 200 dunums in Kafr Laqef, Kafr Qadoun and Hijeh villages in Qalqiliya province, Deir Sharaf and Northern Azzun in Nablus, and Kafr Jamal in Tulkarem; where the Israeli Occupation Authorities handed the village and municipal councils military warnings state continuing the confiscation process under security pretexts.
Land Research Center pointed out that the confiscated lands were seized since more than ten years. Adding to that, the new warnings are considered as an extension of the validity of the old warnings, until the end of 2014.
According to the report: the colonization and the wall sieged /blocked Qalqilya province, where the colonization confiscated large areas of lands especially lands that are near 1948 lines. It also mentioned that the isolated area will be about 60,403 dunums when the wall is completed.
The report indicated that the Israeli colonies in Qalqilya province reached 15 colony and eight outposts, inhabited by 30,460 colonizers. The area of the confiscated lands for the benefit of the colonies is 11,605 dunums, in addition to constructing colonial and bypass road networks to connect the colonies with each other.
