Israeli Occupation Authorities confiscate 30 dunams of Wadi Fukin lands
Ramallah – The Israeli Occupation Authorities issued warnings to evacuate 30 dunams of agricultural lands in Wadi Fukin village, southwest of Bethlehem.
According to the military warnings issued by the Israeli Occupation Army, Civil Administration Department – the landowners must stop using the land in 45 days. If the farmers do not follow the orders, the Israeli competent authority will evacuate them and shall have the right to charge them for the costs incurred.
It noteworthy that the area suffered since 1948 from confiscating 8300 dunams, where the Israeli Occupation Authorities confiscated 700 dunams for the benefit of “Betar Illit” colony, build on the Palestinian farmers’ lands. The colony mediate four villages; Husan, Nahaleen, Al-Jabaa’ and Wadi Fukin; only 2600 dunams what was left for the citizens and the remaining space for construction and housing is no more than 250 dunams.
