The Union of Agricultural Work Committees concluded the activities of the project supporting marginalized Palestinian women by enhancing their sustainable agricultural productivity to achieve food security within an environmentally friendly framework in the areas of Tawouh and Beit Kahel in the Hebron Governorate, benefiting 41 women. Seeds and local seedlings of various varieties such as squash, zucchini, okra, beans, chickpeas, as well as seedlings of tomatoes, eggplants, and cauliflower were provided. They were also supported with productive equipment such as traps, spray pumps, and baskets to facilitate agricultural operations and seed production. Their capacities in organic farming, preservation, multiplication of local varieties, and agricultural marketing skills were strengthened.
