The Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC) is launching an urgent international volunteer campaign to support Palestinian farmers, herders, and rural communities under daily threat from Israeli settler violence and occupation land theft.

Across Area C of the West Bank, Palestinian communities are facing escalating attacks aimed at forcibly displacing them from their land. Farmers and herders continue to resist these efforts, but the risks are growing, and international solidarity is more important than ever.

The campaign calls for committed international volunteers to serve as a protective presence in vulnerable communities, document and witness violations, and support Palestinian farmers in their struggle to remain on their land. The campaign has two phases: Solidarity Shields during the summer (July-August) and Olive Harvest in the fall (October-November).

We are seeking individuals who are deeply committed to the Palestinian cause, willing to act responsibly and respectfully within Palestinian communities, and fully aware of the risks and challenges of this work.

The Israeli settler colonial project seeks to erase Palestinian presence from rural areas through violence, land theft, and destruction of livelihoods. Supporting Palestinian farmers is central to defending Palestinian land rights, food sovereignty, and the right to remain.

How to Get Involved

Now is a critical time to stand with Palestinian farmers and defend their right to remain on their land. We call on our international allies to join us in this urgent effort.
